He's shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc. Some of the shots Aaron Craft took where bizarre. Not sure if he's ever had a game as bad offensively before, but 3-of-15 shooting, 1 assist and 3 turnovers? Then Thomas disappeared in the final minutes. As for Matta, I'm not sure if Ross is in his doghouse for something for not, but I don't understand why he doesn't play more. Seth Davis of SI/CBS Sports watched an OSU practice back in October and said Ross "was team's best pro prospect. Good size, great shooter." I have said to my some of my fellow OSU fans that it might be somewhat of a "blessing in disguise" that we are banned from playing in a bowl this season. If you really look at things objectively you have to admit that we should've had at least 2 losses this season - Cal and Purdue both outplayed us, except for the final score. I think the 2012 Buckeyes were a great and resilient team, but if I had to put money on a OSU vs. Alabama or OSU vs. Georgia game, I'd have to bet on the SEC. When I do my own personal rankings, I devalue the win-loss records and place more emphasis on "which team do I think will win if they played each other?". I think either Georgia or Alabama would beat us handily... and maybe Notre Dame and Oregon as well. With the Buckeyes' inconsistent offense and "still improving" defense, I wouldn't be confident about match-ups with any of those teams. So, I mostly agree with the AP rankings here. After all, it's the Buckeyes' fault for not getting the chance to prove themselves in the post-season.</p> <p>My prediction for the Title Game: Alabama will pound Notre Dame. Better Notre Dame than us. Boston College doesn't have the facilities. Alumni Stadium only holds about 44,000.
